Bran is more for people in their golden years, right? Not at all! Bran is a healthy addition to your diet at ANY age for a number of reasons; let's look at just a few of them.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup oat bran flower
  • 1 cup gluten-free all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown rice flower
  • 1 egg ( or 1 egg substitute)
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup agave
  • 1 cup grated fresh apple
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp orange rind
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla liquid stevia
  • 1/3 cup mixed walnut pieces & raisons (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients
  • Mix liquid ingredients
  • Then combine both
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until browned
